Alex Band is a solo musician best known for his work in his former band “The Calling” with their signature song “Wherever You Will Go” which peaked at #3 on the top 40 in 2001. As a solo artist he is well known for providing the vocals on the top 10 hit, “Why Don’t You & I” with Carlos Santana and Chad Kroeger in 2004. In 2008 he created his own record label and released a 5 song EP, “Alex Band EP.” The EP contained 4 new songs in addition to the song “Coming Home.” His debut solo album is slated for release this coming May. The first single off the record is “Tonight” and was released February 15th. The video for the song can be seen above.
